2 Chanel Perfumes: Cristalle Eau Verte and Coco Mademoiselle

Chanel perfumes are legendary - and I believe every girl should own one at least once in their life.
I will be reviewing 2 of Chanel's perfumes: Cristalle Eau Verte and Coco Mademoiselle.
I was torn whether to review Chance Chanel as well, but I wanted to do a more sharp comparison, and I think Chance and Coco have a similar feel - although I would still recommend both.

The perfumes usually come in a few forms, for example an Eau de Parfum spray and an Eau de Toilette spray - the difference being the Parfum is stronger, purer and more expensive, and the Toilette is more watered down and lasts for a shorter time, so is subsequently cheaper.
Personally when I have the choice I go for the Eau de Toilette as it costs a lot less and still smells great.

Chanel Coco Mademoiselle
Coco Mademoiselle is one of my all-time favourite perfumes, as it is timeless and heavenly. It has a feminine, floral feel but is also quite sensual when up close, and although becomes softer throughout the day, lasts a long time. Described by Chanel as "feminine and sexy, young and exciting," and with scents of bergamot, oranges, rose and jasmine.
It is a very versatile perfume as well, with regards to how it is suitable for daily wear, not just on special occasions, can be worn in the morning or evening and at any time of the year.

I have gotten the most compliments about this perfume than any other I have worn, and I have never come across someone who does not love Coco mademoiselle - showing it is a scent loved by all.
Although expensive, I would say this is an overall amazing buy.

Chanel Cristalle Eau Verte
This scent has an uplifting green fresh citrus scent. It is not as sophisticated a scent as other Chanel perfumes, but is contemporary and youthful, great for spring and summer.
Scents in the perfume are of magnolia, jasmine, bergamot and lemon and Chanel have described it as a "crisp, modern scent with a sheer, spirited heart."
When first sprayed the scent is strong, but soon becomes more subtle - and after a few hours almost disappears, and this is the only downside to the perfume I can think of.

Overall I would say Eau Verte has a very distinctive, intense smell which personally I love - but unlike Coco Mademoiselle not quite everyone I know is as crazy about it - it's not love it or hate it, but more love it or like it a lot.
